Clink for iOSSuggestions
Settings path: Home Suggestions
The bar suggests as you type, and misspellings fix themselves on the next space.
The suggestion bar and the corrections are separate switches, so you can keep one and drop the other. On iOS and Android test builds, a matching emoji such as 🔥 for fire appears beside two word suggestions, including when Scrollable suggestions is enabled. Press Space and the emoji stays beside two next-word suggestions; tap it to replace the previous word while keeping the space. Starting another word switches the match to that word. With no matching emoji, all three opening choices are word suggestions. Return, other line breaks and punctuation clear the previous match.
Corrections
Settings path: Home Corrections
Corrections are the fixes that happen on the next space. They are separate from the bar, so you can keep the suggestions and stop the rewriting, or the other way round.
English correction considers word endings as well as letter distance. For example, a missing vowel in “happend” can be corrected to “happened”. Longer words can also recover from several nearby-key mistakes, including less common words such as “clipboard”, when the spelling gives enough evidence for the correction. Custom words and spellings you choose to keep remain protected. Android test builds include these shared iOS rules. If a space is missed or replaced by a stray letter, Clink can also separate the words while fixing nearby-key typos when the intended phrase is clear. For example, “howbare” can become “how are” when you press Space, including when you type quickly. Turning autocorrection off or rejecting a correction still takes precedence.

Automation
Settings path: Home Automation
Those are three separate switches, so you can drop the one that's bothering you and keep the rest.
Capitalization, apostrophes, quotes, and spacing tidy up as you type. On iOS and Android test builds, Auto-capitalize also prepares a capital letter when a message field is cleared or you move the cursor to the start of a sentence. Turning Auto-capitalize off keeps that automatic change off.
With Auto-correct or Auto punctuation enabled, pressing Space restores missing apostrophes in contractions such as im → I’m and doesnt → doesn’t. Ambiguous words use context: ill can become I’ll, while I feel ill stays unchanged. Passive learning and rejecting an unrelated spelling replacement do not disable these repairs. Custom words, deliberately chosen spellings, and a refusal of that contraction itself are still respected.
Press Space twice to end the sentence with a period. A space the keyboard added after a swipe never counts as the first press.
- Auto-capitalize
- Auto punctuation
- Double-space period
Custom words
Several things remember a word, and it saves time to know which one you want.
Settings path: Home Custom words
Add names, slang, or jargon the keyboard keeps fighting. They show up as you type, stay correctly spelled, and survive a learned-words reset.
Picks up the names, slang, and jargon you type, not words the dictionary already has.
Replacements
Settings path: Home Replacements
Type a shortcut, press space, and Clink inserts the phrase. Stays on this device; overrides Settings → Keyboard shortcuts on conflict.
- Open Replacements and add one.
- Put the shortcut in one field and the phrase it turns into in the other.
- Type the shortcut, press space, and the phrase arrives.

Word lists ship inside Clink. No download step when you type.
Bring a word list for a language Clink doesn’t ship, or add extra vocabulary to one it does. The file stays on this device.
