Enable typing analytics

Your typing stats are computed locally. Clink does not upload or sell them. You can choose to share an image of your aggregate numbers from Analytics.

1. Open Analytics and turn typing analytics on.
2. Type as usual. The numbers appear as they accumulate.

What it shows

Words today, a daily streak, your best speed, the rhythm of your typing over the past weeks, and which keys take the most traffic.

Share a stats card

1. Once you have recorded some typing, open Analytics and tap Share results in the toolbar.
2. Review the dot-matrix card in your current theme. It shows words today, a 14-day word trend, your current day streak, all-time best WPM, and all-time word and keystroke totals.
3. Tap Share to open the iOS share sheet and save the image or send it through an app you choose. Close the preview to leave without sharing.

The preview and exported image use the same snapshot. The card contains aggregate numbers and its date, with no typed text, key history or account details. Sharing does not turn analytics on or change your recorded data.

Typing test

The typing test gives you a passage and a speed at the end of it, which is a fairer number than whatever you managed while writing a message in a queue.

Where the numbers live

The recorded data stays on your phone. Only a stats card you explicitly choose to share leaves through the iOS share sheet. Key totals are counted without keeping the order you pressed them in, so the record cannot be read back as something you wrote. Resetting clears the recorded data; it cannot remove images you have already saved or shared.
