Profiles
A profile is the whole keyboard saved under a name. Keep one for work and one for everything else, and change over in a tap.
Clink for iOSWhat a profile holds
A profile remembers your whole setup: how the keyboard behaves, its layout, and how it feels. Save a few and switch between them in one tap. Your theme stays put no matter which one you're on.
A profile saves the whole keyboard: theme, layout, sizes, every setting.

Settings path: Home Profiles
- Set the keyboard up the way you want it.
- Open Profiles and tap New Profile.
- Name it, give it an icon, and create it. To rename an existing custom profile, open its More menu and choose Rename, then enter the new name and tap Save. Cancel leaves the name unchanged. Edit still lets you choose its icon; tapping its name there opens the same rename dialog.
Switching
In the app, tap the person-in-a-circle button at the top to open the Profiles menu. Its icon stays the same whichever profile is active. Choose a recent profile under Switch profile, or tap All profiles to open your library. An orange dot means your current settings have changed since the active profile was applied or last saved. All profiles also shows an orange dot and “Profile modified” so you can follow it to the save controls. Open it and choose Save for a custom profile, Save as New for a built-in profile, or Revert to discard the changes.
Pick a saved profile from the keyboard and it takes effect straight away.
- Profiles is on by default for a new setup. If you have turned it off, enable it in Tools. Allow Full Access to use it from the keyboard.
- Open it from the tools button and tap a profile. The keyboard changes under your hands.

From the home screen
Switch keyboard profiles with one tap, without opening Clink.
The widget writes the change straight into the shared settings, so a keyboard already on screen picks it up at once and the app never opens.
Presets
Clink ships a set of presets, and profile packs can be downloaded from a repository. Both are a starting point rather than something fixed.
Expand the arrow beside Library and use Search to find saved profiles and available profile packs across all added repositories. You can search by profile or repository name. Clear the search to return to the selected source.
