Sounds and haptics
Swap the click, record your own sound pack, and tune haptics. Clink’s haptics still work where the system click is off.
Clink for iOSKey sounds
Settings path: Home Sound
Clink carries its own packs and its own volume, separate from the click iOS makes for the system keyboard.
Mechanical keyboard feel on iPhone
You cannot put real switches under the glass. You can get the feel: sculpted 3D keycaps in the theme, metal materials, sound packs, and haptics that still fire when the system click is off.
Sound-only “mechanical keyboard” apps stop at the click. Clink is a full typing stack (swipe, autocorrect, layouts) that can also sound and look like a board you own.
Haptics
Settings path: Home Haptics
The haptic strength is Clink's own, so it works even where the system click is off.
Sound packs
Make a pack from your own clicks: a file, a recording, or a copy of a built-in one to start from.
- Open Sound and tap New pack, or duplicate a pack you like and start from that.
- Add a sound: record one, or choose a wav, m4a or mp3 file.
- Tap the pack’s name to open the rename dialog, enter a name, then tap Save. Cancel leaves the name unchanged. You can also hold your pack in the Sound library and choose Rename. Under Switch, choose Color and adjust Angle to change the switch’s lighting. Sounds, loudness and switch appearance save as you work.
- To remove your pack, tap Delete pack at the bottom of its editor, then confirm Delete pack. When the confirmation appears as a popup, it opens from the Delete pack row. Dismissing the confirmation keeps the pack.

Use the Play button on any sound card to audition it without selecting it. In Get more sounds and Community, Play fetches a temporary preview without installing the pack. Tap again to hear another take when the pack includes several recordings. Use the download control separately when you want to keep it. Previews respect Silent Mode and your device volume.
